Network Problems on Multiple Servers

 On March 19, 2021, JustSnipe experienced intermittent network problems on multiple servers in our network. The issue occurred between 01:00 - 02:00 and again between 17:00 - 17:30 (Pacific).

• Some snipes that ended during the above time may fail with error #8. 
• Some customers may not be able to sign in. 

As of now, the issue has been resolved. However, as precaution, we will perform emergency maintenance between 01:00 - 03:00 (Pacific) of March 20, 2021.

eBay Security Token

 
TLDR
You need to re-link your JustSnipe and eBay account in order to place bid because the security code is expired. Read further for instruction.

JustSnipe has switched to eBay security token (instead of eBay id/password) for a few years. The new eBay security token helps us to place your snipe bid and better maintain the security of your JustSnipe/eBay account.

When you first sign-up an account with us, there is a process in the back-end that allows us to use this security token. The token has its life span depending on eBay configuration but most of them would last a few months to a few years. 

Every now and then when the eBay security token is about to expire, you would receive a warning message on your JustSnipe account and it may prevent you from placing bid.

To renew or re-authenticate the token, you will need to follow the instruction below. 

 
1. Visit "Manage eBay Account" page.

2. Click the green "RE-AUTHORIZE ACCOUNT" button.

3. You will be redirected to eBay site to grant JustSnipe access.
Simply just sign in using your eBay account that you would like to
link with JustSnipe.



4. Once you have signed in to eBay, you will be asked to grant
application access to JustSnipe. Simply Click "Agree" button.



5. To make sure everything is in working order, go back to the "Manage
eBay Account" page by following steps 1 - 2 again and click the green
"VALIDATE" button.
