Resolved: Changes to eBay pages

On Feb 24, 2004, eBay has made some changes to its page format. These changes may cause an incorrect display of snipe status -- "Snipe Error" -- while those bids were being properly executed. Also it may cause missing snipes to some users. We are working to correct the issue.

Update (21:30): Preliminary workaround has been applied. There should be no missing snipe. We will later apply the secondary patch on Wednesday morning (approx 00:30) and may require a reboot. We will post an update again when the process is done.

Update (00:27 2/25/2004): We have sucessfully updated and rebooted our server. The issue has been resolved.

Resolved: Intermitten Network Delayed

Approximately 14:00 - 14:11 PST 02/23/2004, our server experienced intermitten network delayed when trying to connect to eBay and may cause inaccessible to our member's area, difficulty when scheduling/updating snipes, and missing snipes. The problem has now been resolved. Sorry for any inconvenience.

UPDATE: Server Outage

(9:57pm) All system is now working fine.

Update: The web server outage was starting around 4:45pm to 6:00pm Pacific, during this period all bids were being executed as normal. Then the outage was spreading to our DNS server and cause a brief downtime and snipe error from 6:15pm - 6:35pm Pacific.

Also there have been some reports to eBay viewing item as well. For more information about ebay system status visit eBay Announcements Board.
