eBay Server Problem

There has been a brief intermittent connection problem to eBay servers from 10:30 - 12:15 of Jan 29th. During the time, many connections from our multiple networks to eBay were lost /or delayed and caused some users to receive "Snipe Error" and "Auction Ended" message. The problem seems to be resolved. Users who have pending snipes in next 12 hours should be cautious.

Starting from 5:20 of 12/19/2005, some of eBay's servers experienced time-out issue. Connections from our multiple-server locations confirmed that the issue was on eBay's network.

The issue still persists. Some users who had snipes scheduled during the time may receive "Snipe Error" and "Auction Ended" message in their snipe result.

We will post more update as soon as eBay has corrected this issue.

Intermittent Network Connection Problem to "Free" members.

Starting from 04:06 of Dec 6th, connections from one of our bid servers to eBay were lost /or delayed and caused some users to receive "Snipe Error" and "Auction Ended" message.

The issue happened sporadically and caused problem mainly to users in the free plan.

We have reset the bid server and the issue seems to be resolved. Though, we will be monitoring any problem in the next 12 hours. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Web Server Scheduled Maintenance Nov 29th

Update (4:50), as of 4:30 AM, the network has been restored. All operations are returning to normal.

We have been informed by the network engineers that the maintenance took more time than they anticipated and caused users to be unable to sign in to our site. Sorry for the inconvenience.
