Snipe Group is Temporary Disable

Snipe Group feature is temporary disable due to changes in eBay page format and caused our system to mis-interpret the result page . Engineer is working to find a solution for the new page format.

Users who already have scheduled bid to the snipe group must manually delete items out of the group to avoid bid being placed when condition is already met.

Network Connection Problem

Between 0:00 - 01:30 of 6/17/2010 , connections from our servers were lost /or delayed and caused some users to receive "Snipe Error" and "Auction Ended" message.The issue happened sporadically during that period. Some users may experience error message ("Sorry, your sign-in id is not in our record ") when signing in to JustSnipe account.

The issue was resolved by itself.

JustSnipe is launching its 1st Facebook Application that links your JustSnipe and Facebook accounts together. You will be able to access your JustSnipe account through Facebook and checking your snipe status without leaving Facebook.

How to setup for the 1st time

  1. Visit: http://apps.facebook.com/justsnipe/
  2. Allow Access to your Facebook Public Information.
  3. Inside "JustSnipe on Facebook Application", click "Setup" tab.
  4. Enter your JustSnipe Id and Password and click "Link" button.

Current version will allow only viewing of your "Current" and "Completed" snipe orders. We are working to add more features into this application.

Problem Adding New Snipe (#2)

We have implemented a temporary fix to the problem.
Users should now be able to schedule new snipe.

There are a few other features that still not working properly -- "Importing from eBay Watch List" and "Hourly Price Check".

We will post more update soon.

As of now (18:00), the issue has been resolved. Users should be able to schedule new snipes.

No snipes have been missed from this outage. The issue only limited to ability to schedule new snipe orders.

Between 14:45 - 15:30 of 5/12/2009 , connections from our servers were lost /or delayed and caused some users to receive "Snipe Error" and "Auction Ended" message.The issue happened sporadically and caused problem mainly to users in the free plan and some members in the paid plan. Some users may experience error message ("Sorry, your sign-in id is not in our record ") when signing in to JustSnipe account during this time period.

Network engineers have been notified and fixed the issue.

Problems When Import Watch Items from eBay Watch List

2/12/2009 17:00. We are aware of issues when trying to import watch items from eBay. The issue has been fixed.

In the past few weeks, eBay had changed its page format on the watch list page that caused problem when we try to transfer the list from your account. We have found the cause and find a solution to have the importing feature working again. However, this feature might not still be stable. Please let us know if you find a problem or cannot import the watch list items from your account.
