JustSnipe is an auction sniper service that allows its paid members to customize their lead time, also known as buffer time, for a more efficient sniping strategy. By adjusting the bidding time, members can align it with their preferences and needs.
It is a common issue on eBay that many sellers choose to end their auctions at specific minutes of the hour such as :00, :15, :30, and :45, which puts a lot of pressure on eBay servers and can lead to missed snipes. However, JustSnipe's customizable lead time feature can reduce the chances of this happening.
It's worth noting that free members cannot make any adjustments to their lead time, and it is fixed at 8 seconds.
On the other hand, paid members can set their lead time down to 1 second!, but it's crucial to exercise caution when doing so. A lead time of less than 5 seconds can result in missed snipes due to slow response time on eBay and high network traffic.
With JustSnipe's adjustable lead time feature, members can optimize their bidding strategy and increase their chances of winning auctions.
Please note that the actual bidding time and lead time may vary slightly due to the internal logic of the program, which can result in a margin of error of +/- 2 seconds or more. The lead time provided is meant to serve as a reference point for our users and may not always reflect the exact timing of the bid.
JustSnipe is the ultimate tool for online auction enthusiasts, offering a range of powerful features to help you get the best deals possible. One of these features is JustWatch, which allows you to add auctions to an online watch list and easily schedule sniping afterwards. With JustWatch, you'll never miss an auction again!
The best part? JustWatch can also import your current watching items on eBay in just a few clicks, making it easier than ever to keep track of your favorite items.
To use this feature, you'll need to create a JustSnipe account. Once you're logged in, simply click on JustWatch from the left-panel menu to go to the JustWatch page. From there, click on the "Import eBay Watch List to JustWatch" icon located on the top portion of the main page.
A popup window will appear, prompting you to confirm that you want to import your eBay watch list. Click "YES, IMPORT EBAY WATCH LIST" to begin the import process. It may take a few seconds to import your list, especially if you have a large number of items. Please note that only "Active Auctions" can be imported.
JustWatch is available to all JustSnipe users, with a free membership allowing you to track up to 30 items and the value membership providing unlimited tracking. Start using JustWatch today to take your online auction game to the next level!
What happened to my earlier snipe that should have won, but did not.
If you have experienced a situation where you believe that your snipe should have won but did not, there are a few possible reasons for this outcome.
Firstly, it's essential to understand that eBay's bid increment rules may have affected your bid. eBay sets a minimum bid increment for each item, which determines the minimum amount that bids must be raised by. If your maximum bid did not meet the next minimum bid increment, your bid may not have been accepted, resulting in a "Bid too low" message.
eBay’s bid increment rules:

Secondly, it's possible that you may have received an NPB (Non-Paying Bidder) warning or failed to make payment to eBay in the past, which could have led to your bid being rejected.
It's also worth noting that eBay's system is not perfect, and technical glitches can occur, leading to unexpected outcomes. However, these instances are rare, and eBay typically works hard to ensure that their system operates fairly and transparently.
If you believe that none of the above reasons apply, you may want to contact eBay customer support for more information and assistance in understanding why your snipe did not win. They may be able to provide more details about the outcome of your bid and offer guidance on how to avoid similar issues in the future.
